These Kits are designed and worked by Doreen. The Mary Busby Ackworth Sampler was charted and worked by Doreen and has been repoduced as an Ackworth chart kit. The Pearsalls kits are those with threads included. Leisure Needle samplers and kits have the option of buying the threads separately - these can be bought at additional cost by clicking on the additional 'Add to Cart'
button in each section - these will be whole skeins of Pearsall's Filoselle silks. Some of the samplers have an added piece of Stumpwork, clear instructions are included.

This Ackworth Quaker sampler is worked on 40 count linen,(sand), using one strand of Pearsall's Filoselle silk. It measures 13 1/2ins x 16 1/2ins. This is a typical Quaker sampler with the half medallions round the edge and full medallions, plus alphabets and numbers filling the rest of the area. beautiful Quaker colours used. |
